Taiwanese Bistro…ish.

Well apparently this place has either moved or closed down since we went in 2007. But it was so good! It used to be near the flagship store of Din Tai Fung.


We have lotus petals drizzled with honey and raisins, a small fruit plate with bananas, dragon fruit, lembu (or wax apples), and pineapple , cold winter melon soup, sweet snow fungus “白木耳 bai mu er” dessert soup, and some lotus flower tea. One of our main courses was stir-fried kimchi rice cake with broccoli. Love rice cake. The chewiness and meatiness of them. Including the slightly annoying but oddly gratifying stickiness. We also had a curry vegetable noodle soup that was pretty good.
